Expo Icrontic 2009

What is the Expo Icrontic?

This is the biggest Icrontic event of the year! It's the reason our community's members save up their vacation time. Bring yer PC and get your game on.

The Food Tour, Duct Tape Challenge, and Friday Early-AM Golf (bring clubs!) will return, and we have several more fun events planned.

Things to bring:

• Computer (including monitor, keyboard and mouse)
• 25+ ft ethernet cable
• 6+ plug power strip
• Heavy duty extension cord
• Towel & toiletries
• Sleeping bag, ground pad, & pillow
• Tent (if possible)

Accomodations:

You MUST bring your own 25-foot ethernet cable and power strip! We do NOT have spares. You won't want to rely on us for a spare mouse either unless you love PS2 trackballs.

If you bring a two-person air mattress, it must have 2 people on it. If you bring a 4-person tent, it should have at least 3 people in it. Air travellers have priority for indoor sleeping arrangements.

Weather:

Be prepared for any kind of weather. We recommend both shorts for mid-day and a hooded sweatshirt / jeans for evenings. Michigan weather is crazy.

Minors & under 21:

If you're under 18 and not accompanied by someone over 21, we want to talk to your parent/guardian. It's not a big deal, we just want to make sure everyone's on the same page.

If you're under 21, you are absolutely forbidden from drinking during the Expo. No, we're not "just saying that." It will be strictly enforced, and all the staff will know who is underage.

Beverages:

The Expo is BYOB. We strongly recommend bringing a water bottle or Gatorade in addition to your carbonated beverages of choice. If you are over 21 and choose to drink, please moderate your consumption of alcohol. The Expo is not a drinking party.

Lost & Found:

We DO NOT ship lost & found items so double-check for your phone charger and favorite hat when you're packing. Similarly, don't leave stuff for us to take to the post office. It's your responsibility to deal with it before you go.
